Amending Device Info, iPhone 15

Got a new iPhone Well 15, and ported my old phone number into it. However, in Device Info in Settings, it still shows the original phone number. How can I edit this?

Probably you have iMessage turned on, you can turn iMessage off and then turn it on again after a few minutes, like 10 minutes, you should get your number

Then go back again to Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct

Edit your phone number in Settings>Phone>My Number

Thanks, I’ve tried that, but it won’t save the ported number, just reverts immediately to the original. Any more ideas?

When you call someone does the other persons caller ID show the correct number? If not you need to contact the carrier and get them to complete the number port.
