«Private access» for photos on certain apps?

I am currently running iOS 17.1.1 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I am having a problem with the «Private access» when I am posting my photos on Google Maps. It’s very annoying because I cannot upload so much photos and it takes a long time to actually show up on the app. A few days before this private access thing started coming up it had no problem and Google Maps was able to access my whole photo library without the private access thing popping up. I have tried going into the Privacy settings for photos to turn it off but there is no option to turn it off. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and maybe another way to disable it?

I am experiencing the exact same thing. There is no where to turn this off. It is very frustrating. I do not even know how or why it started. It started for me like a week ago and I cannot figure out how to turn this off. Usually it would say "Selected Photos" but now it says "Private Access" with no option to change it.
