Photos app keeps crashing

I am trying to edit a few photos I recently took on my phone, but my app keeps crashing. It happens on different photos, both when doing the actual editing and when pasting edit settings from one photo to another.

I've tried both closing/reopening the app and restarting my phone and it’s not solving it.

I'm running the latest iOS update (17.1.1) and the phone is a new iPhone 15 Pro.

Any help would be very appreciated since this is very annoying. Thanks
