iPhone 15 Pro Max cannot copy text from web pages

Selecting text on a web page using an iPhone 15 Pro Max, I am unable to copy text to paste into notepad, does anyone else have this problem? No option to copy apoears.

I am very surprised the top of the range iPhone is unable to do the most simple tasks. For $2500 the iPhone Pro Max is severely lacking in basic functions.

Running IOS 17.1.1 (21B91)

iPhone 8 Plus

Yes and it happens on other sites too. I have found other problems from my reading in my iPhone 8 Plus backup into the 15 Pro Max, it thinks it’s an 8Plus iPhone. I’m going to wipe it and begin from scratch.

Upgrading to a later model is not as easy as Apple advertising leads one to believe. Have a look at the sub text under my last post, it says that post was made with an iPhone 8Plus, weird gliches.

I’ve been through my Apple ID and removed a very old reference that hasn’t been used by me in years. But I don’t see how this suggestion addresses the incorrect text ID’ing my device which is wrong. It states incorrectly that my device is an iphone 8 plus, its not I’m using an iphone 15 Pro Max. Were at tangents here and your suggestions, while I appreciate your trying to help, your suggestions are creating more problems for myself and I’m running around in a loop.

The obvious fix is to just wipe/erase the iphone 15 of the 8 plus backup and set it up from scratch so it sees itself as what it is, an iPhone 15.
