Wondering if you are discussing an Apple Gift Card ? (Else: Apple Card is Apple's credit card):

For some gift cards, you might need to peel or gently scratch off the label to see the 16 digit code.

Make sure that you enter the redemption code that begins with "X", not a different number on the card.
