Airdrop is not working

Hello, my Airdrop is not working.

I can't send documents from my iPhone 13 (iOS 17.1) to my Macbook Pro (Ventura macOS 13.5.2). However, it works correctly in the other direction. My device is visible but remains stuck on "waiting..." before timing out. I have tried all the solutions suggested in forums (logging out and back into my iCloud account, making sure the firewall is disabled).

I should mention that I am on the same WiFi network for both devices and that both devices are detectable.

Thank you very much to those who will take the time to write to me.

I think this might be a bug in macOS or iOS.

I am posting this topic in the iPhone section, but I am not sure if it is actually a bug in MacOS Ventura.

Hello Baaastou, I'm able to make AirDrop work on my iPhone 13 Pro Max OS 17.1.1 and M1 MBP Ventura both ways. I assume you checked your iPhone AirDrop settings and don't have Receiving Off checked. Did you try changing setting to Everyone for 10 minutes on iPhone? Maybe check for any Content Restrictions on your iPhone. Settings > Screen Time > Restrictions > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

If you have done all that then I'm at a loss too. Perhaps someone else in the community can help.
