My Macbook takes awhile to sync with my other devices--iPad, iPhone, Mini Mac, etc. Case in point: I was out of town yesterday and took my iPad to work on 3 or 4 files. Now I'm back in the office and could not work on a file for 20 minutes or so. I can find no manual override to speed thing up. Your advice?

I have a Folder on my Desktop
It is 25 MB in size with 35 items in the folder
The Folder is Syncing to iCloud
On two Other devices I own and operate, it took 2 hours for the folder to sync across to the Other Two Devices
The Folder is now appearing on all three computers all running Sonoma 14.1.1
You may consider checking the Apple Status page from time to time and look for Services Experiencing issues
I am guessing from lack of reply you still don't have an answer.
It was, at one time, Notes, for me, that would sync sporadically, and always, slowly. Now it's most all of my toys.
Recently, I have noted that Messages now is slow in syncing to my 2021 MacBook Pro 14", running Sonoma 14.5.
(Always want to add "Williams" to that. Guess that says something as to where I like, but can't afford, to shop.)
If anyone has an idea or, better yet, a fix, I would appreciate hearing from them?

PS Messages doesn't sync for hours. Same network.
Another time shifter from a posting dating back to November 8, 2023 = almost 7 months after the fact.
