How do I disconnect my iPad Air from my iPhone 13 so my iPhone will ring when I am using my iPad?

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices, then turn off Allow Calls on Other Devices.
On your iPad, go to Settings > FaceTime > Calls from iPhone, then turn of Calls from iPhone.
