formerly working and activated debit cards do suddenly not show up on watch

Apple Watch 5, WatchOS 10.1 Until yesterday my Apple Wallet debit cards (3 different banks) worked fine as years before. Today they do not display/show up when I double push the button on my watch.

'Apple' thing in between was, having to update my iphone to IOS 17.1, reset to factory setting and reinstall, for another issue.

All my loyalty cards show up as before. The debit cards in the wallet (within the apple watch app) are still without any flag but not viewable/usable on my watch. Oh yes I know... remove and reinstall.... But it seems a bug and I am not looking forward to remove/reinstall repeatedly in the future

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

Thnx .. I wrote, a simple remove/add within the Watch app would do the job and it did. Nevertheless I wanted to report a bug, not a problem. Suddenly lost bankcards in your watch wallet is not what you want while trying to pay with it and no alternative at hand. I suggested the IOS update caused the problem, but after posting I checked my second Apple Watch which worked flawlessly, so it seems it had nothing to do with it.
