using Apple TV with older Vizio tv

I have a 2014 Vizio E55-C1 tv that has some smart tv functionality, but no real way that I can see to load the Apple TV app. I get Spectrum internet/cable tv and can view Netflix and Prime. How do people watch Apple TV on older smart tv's?

I use a Roku streaming stick even though I have an LG smart TV that is only 2 years old as the Roku device is better than the LG apps.
