FCPX Sharing Stuck at 44%

I am trying to share a project in YouTube/Facebook format and it continually stops at 44%. 1280 x 720, size: 8GB. Sending to my desktop.

I have deleted generated project files, closed and opend the file and FCPX, turned the computer off and on...there seems to be plenty of room on my computer.

Any thoughts on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Just exported a small clip from project and it shared. So the project file seems fine. Not sure why the larger size should be such an issue.

I exported the project two days ago (.mp4, 1920x1080, 16GB, also a smaller .mov file) no problem. Not sure why I am now having so many problems exporting the larger .mov.

Will try exporting the .mp4 file again (smaller size) to see if its an issue overall.

No error message, it just stalls. Spinning wheel appearing more than normal...processing seems slower than usual

I have 175Gb on my drive and 568GB on my Ext HD where my library files are located.

Just tried sharing another, smaller project, ....actually it did share.

Will now try sharing a smaller clip from original project and see what happens. Stay tuned

Try exporting with a different setting, like Export File, and then click Settings, and choose Computer, or Apple Devices. Try it on just a small test project. Same problem?

If it persists, begin by deleting FCP preferences. To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences. The application will start in a default state, and open an "Untitled" library. Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

If it still persists: Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
