Transferring Messages:

iCloud Messages:

Was iCloud Messages Set Up?: Go Here: Set up Messages on iPhone - Apple Support

Did you Use Quick Start?:

The transfer may have stalled. So, is Quick Start what you used here? Either way, I recommend you restore your new iPhone to factory settings, and then perform anther transfer, this time using Quick StartUse Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

"Yes iCloud messages is setup correctly. And I went into an Apple Store today and was there for 7 hours and after resetting the phone and trying to restore from backup again, still didn’t work."

Restore:

7 hours seems a bit overkill for time to perform a restore. So, they must have performed some other things.

Troubleshooting Deleted Messages:

What to Consider:

A. Restore from Today's Backup:

Restore your old iPhone from a backup of it that contains these messages, and you could recover them. Note that the backup needs to be of the same iOS version.

B. Check Messages App:

If messages was enabled on your iPhone along with your Apple computer, then check and see if the Messages app is enabled on your Mac to see if it exists in it. You'd start up your Mac, not connecting to the Internet, and open the Massages app. Then proceed from there with retrieving it. Important: Be certain you do not connect to the Internet while booting up, as syncing would delete it. So, power off your router to avoid the connection.

Elsewise, if they're gone, they're gone. That's just the way it is :(

Get Records of Each Thread.

From here, these are the last three options, the first of which I think is the way for you to go. It is a User Tip I created. And is always an excellent route take.

Three Methods…

A. Print theses Threads:

For safe keeping, being you cannot transfer them, print your threads as PDF dements. Use my User Tip: How to Save or Print a Complete iPhone Messages Thread - User Tip

Or…

B. Take screenshots of each thread.

Or…

C. Make screen recordings as you scroll down each thread slowly

Sync Messages Using iCloud Messages:

A. Go Here: Set Up iCloud for Messages on all your Devices - Apple Support

B. Syncing Through iCloud:

Sign in to the same Apple ID on both iPhones, and then enable Messages in iCloud Settings. Being synced, Photos will be accessible between both two iPhones.

On Both iPhones:

  1. Click: Settings
  2. Tap: your Name (top item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Messages (so that it is green)
