16" MacBook Pro M1 2021 Speakers Seem So Quiet?

My 16" MacBook Pro M1 2021 speaker volume seems to be super low, I always have to have my speakers at max volume when watching Netflix or YouTube. Half volume is so hard to hear, is there a fix to this??

Is anyone else having this issue with theirs?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.0

I have the same problem too. I started to have this for 2 months now and the type of MacBook I got is a 14 inch M1 Pro 2021. I noticed when I was watching videos on YouTube on my Firefox and part of me think it’s the browser itself but I tried Safari and that has the same issue. I tried the different methods to fix the problem such as force quitting the core audio, restarting my MacBook, updating the latest software, and other methods but that does work. I also cleaned the grills too because I thought it could be dust but that doesn’t work either. It’s been a month for this post so idk if you resolved the issue or still have the same problem because I want this audio to be fixed.

Troubleshooting Lost Mac Volume:

Try Resetting the Core Audio:

Type the following command in Terminal:

sudo killall coreaudiod

To get to Terminal go to: Applications > Utilities > Terminal
