I selected the color White in the ultra 2 wayfinder watch app but face color stays black on watch

Does the below work?

The Wayfinder watch face also includes Night Mode—a feature that turns all elements on the watch face red to help preserve your night vision. Touch and hold the watch face, tap Edit, swipe to Night Mode, then choose Auto.
