How do I fast forward in watchOS 10 on podcasts?

I always use fast forward on my watch while working out. I upgraded to os 10 and now can’t find it. What in the world possessed them to either remove this or make it so hard to find? Is it still there somewhere?

watchos 10 don't play downloaded podcast from watch I am unable to play downloaded podcasts with WatchOS 10. When I select a downloaded podcast on the watch, it automatically plays it from the iPhone. I have re-downloaded all the podcasts to make sure they are local on the watch. I have also rebooted the iPhone and the Watch. What else can I try?

Podcasts no longer working on Watch OS 10.0.1 Since updating to Watch OS 10.0.1 and iOS 17.0.2, my podcast no longer work and I don't know how to troubleshoot this. I only use the Apple Podcasts app. They work fine on the phone Podcasts appear to be syncing from the phone to the watch Podcasts appear under "Library > Downloads" on the watch BUT, when I choose one to play on the Watch (away from the phone), it shows a 'Loading' screen for a second and then drops back to the Downloads section The same is true for the new Latest list at the top of the podcasts app -- the list appears, but clicking and playing ONLY works if the phone is nearby I've tried re-syncing podcasts several times and changing from syncing one or more poducts from individual shows. What should I try next?

For Watch OS 10 : Play podcasts on Apple Watch - Apple Support

says you can either:

"Skip ahead 30 seconds."

or you can

"Show playback options"

Eg:

"On the Now Playing screen, tap at the top right

Adjust playback speed:

Use the plus and minus buttons to choose a playback speed—.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, or 2x. "
