Before update, had a timer that automatically had a "time of day" feature included

I use the timer feature many times a day. Well, I use to. Now, when I set the timer, the "time of day" feature is missing. It use to be on the same page as the timer. A few of my friends also were able to use the timer feature in the same way and are frustrated it's not there. It was used like an alarm, and the timer could be set to the hour and minutes and then below was "that time" that you needed for it to go off. We all think it's an upgrade problem where it disappeared. Many don't want to update since the preferred the timer feature as it was before update. Any ideas how to get a timer app with it working as it was prior to update? Thanks
