Says place both airpods in ears when i try to switch to noise cancellation. Both of them are in my ears though. Idk what to do

Power off phone … reboot like Microsoft. Now works.
Don’t get me wrong. I love all my Apple products, but the last five years I have noticed an increase in ‘restarting’ devices to fix an issue.
