Can’t turn watch on!

Hello,

if your smartwatch is brand new, please put it on charger first for 1 hour or so. I assume battery is dead.

What happens when you follow the steps listed in Set up your Apple Watch?

The first step states:

"Turn on your Apple Watch and put it on

To turn on your Apple Watch, press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears. Then put the watch on your wrist."
