HomeKit invite constantly buffering.

Me and my partner have been sharing home kit for two years. This morning “our home” had disappeared from her account.

I invited her again. But it just constantly buffers on the invitation.

I’ve cancelled and resent the invitation, I’ve turned off all devices and reinstalled the app.

Apple Homekit invitation failed After my wife and I updated to iOS 16.2, I am not able to successfully invite my wife to my Apple Home app. I am the Resident (Owner) in the Home app. I am able to invite her from my iPhone (using either her phone number or her iCloud email address). She is able to accept the invite. But in less than 30 seconds the invite disappears from both of our phones. She does not see my Home on her phone. Prior to iOS 16.2 this was working fine. We both have iphones with iOS 16.2 installed. We have rebooted both of our phones, but that doesn't solve the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Invitation to home app does not arrive I've read msgs here about this issue from Januari 2023. Any new insights on this after 2 months? My home app didn't function properly, so we decided to delete the profile in my account and my husband wanted to invite me again. However, the invitation never arrived. We've tried several times and also tried one of the workarounds mentioned in this forum: delete Home app totally and using HomeKit reset mobile config profile to wipe out HomeKit data and then reinstall. Still no luck :-( invitation doesn't arrive. So now I'm lost... can't turn on/off our lights or music. This is been going on for quite some time, I'd think there must be a solution by now!?

Home app invitation issue Hi all, Does anybody knows, why can I not get an invitation from home app my wife sent me few hours ago? It’s the same to my doughter. All our devices are updated. We trying to make our homekit working but it useless so far. What a shame.

Just got off of a call with Apple support. No solve. They want me to call back tomorrow and I can talk to a senior advisor, but I don’t suspect there is a way to resolve it at this point. Kind of bad. Please do let us know if you find a way to make it work.
