Bubbles appear on iPad screen

I just got my Ipad Air 5 like a week ago and yesterday I started noticing some bubbles appearing on one part of my screen. Now I did a little research and it turns out that this is a very common thing at devices like these, but In still worried, because even if i just slightly tap it that one spot always seems to appear. I know that this might have no affect on the ipad overall, but still the fact that its brand new and that I barely used it, this is kind of frustrating.

Can someone help me what should I do?

First of all As You may see I did apply a matt screen protector, amd trought the process of the first installation I tried to press out the air bubbles. Now there might be a chance that I pressed a little harder than usual to force the air out, but not too hard to actually cause any damage. Second of all, last night I removed the screen protector, because I started noticing these bubbles. I thought the same thing that the screen protector might causing thoae bubbles, but when I removed the protector, and I tested out by pressing the screen the same thing was there. For the ipads safety I reapplied it and we are courrently here today, with the same issue, even when theres no bubbles under that part of the screen protector. I called apple support to ask this issue, and a polite woman said the same things “try to remove the air bubbles”.

cases that might cause the screen this typenof problem:

1.) I pressed slightly hard when applying the screen protector

2.) Faulty screen

in my opinion for this price there shouldnt be issues like this.. and even if this problem came up because of the screen protector application, im sorry but how can a screen be this weak..

Thank you for your reply tho, and thank you once again if you read all this. I might actually take it to a Genius Bar.

Have you fitted a glass or film screen protector? If so, this may have trapped air beneath the screen protector - the remedy simply being to lift the screen protector and release the air bubbles. If badly fitted, you may need to scrap the screen protector altogether.

If you have not fitted a screen protector, ensure that any protective plastic film from packaging has been properly removed.

Should a problem remain, you may wish to seek advice from the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP).

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

If you have purchased your iPad directly from Apple, in most countries/regions you have up to 14-days within which to unconditionally return an undamaged device for exchange or refund. If you have any concerns whatsoever, you would be well advised to take advantage of this opportunity while it remains available to you.

There is distinction between damage (caused after the iPad was received) and a defect.

I mention the 14-day return window as this is unconditional; your iPad can simply be exchanged for a new device.

Upon expiry of 14-days, Apple reserve the right to exchange a defective device with a renewed/reconditioned (i.e., not necessarily new) device of the same model and specification...

Your sales invoice is the key, as it is this that proves that the iPad was purchased directly from Apple - and when.

If purchased online, you will have received your order confirmation and invoice via email. If you visit an Apple Store, the exchange or refund can be processed in store - whether or not the iPad was purchased from Apple's online store.

Thank you so much! And one last question, do I have to call apple on the 1-800-MY-APPLE number in order to start the exhange, also do I need to tell them that I bought it off student discount with a 2nd gen apple pencil? Or they will know all details, the only thing I need to tell them is that I want an exchange on the ipad to a brand new device?

Thank you once again for answering all these questions!
