Why is my Apple Watch 9 not tracking sleep despite correct settings?

I have just realised that my watch hasn’t tracked my sleep for the last month. Nothing has changed in settings as far as I know. I didn’t have a sleeping plan but yesterday I set one up just to see if that would help but it is still not tracking. As far as I can see all settings are correct. I have just changed from watch 6 to a 9 a few days ago so it´s both watches that didn’t track. I always have the latest updates on software. I have seen some suggestions here in the forum but I can’t seem to find a solution.

Me too! Got an Series 9 couple of days ago and no sleep stages are being shown, only In Bed data is shown and the source for this is watch icon in the health app. NO SLEEP STAGES data is present, it shows No Recent Sleep Data.

getting restless about this, please let me know if you figure out a solution to this.

While going thru settings for sleep focus etc thru the health app, at the very bottom of the sleep schedule settings page it has a link to “manage sleep in the Apple Watch app.” That brought me to sleep settings within the Apple Watch app and “track sleep with Apple Watch” was default turned off. I’m hoping that was the fix but unfortunately I won’t know until tonight.
