Background Sounds ios17
Heyo,
using an iPhone that is on iOS 17.1. Having an issue with Accessibility Background Sounds. Before iOS 17 (used to be on iOS 16), I was able to use Background Sounds, with few issues. Ever since updating to the new versions (which I should not have done), any sounds for Background Sounds that I try to use regularly cut out (with and without other media playing), then they sometimes continue playing, as if I am not playing videos or other media. I don’t know what the causes are, whether certain clicks affect it, or whether I am supposed to switch something off/on. Tried the steps listed in the page for no audio or distorted audio, but possibly due to audio from videos still working fine, none of the steps helped. I even tried resetting my phone, resetting my earphones (Bluetooth; obviously, can’t use wired earphones), and I tried toggling several sound-related features on/off. Issue has occurred for several days, by this point, and I still have the issue.
I know that it’s not due to the audio of the phone, as a whole; audio from media such as videos on YouTube and other websites function just fine, so I believe that it’s either purely or mostly related to something that the updates did to Accessibility Background Sounds.
I believe that it is not a direct issue with my earphones, since they work fine while paired with other devices (including a Gaming Console). Furthermore, I regularly charge my earphones, whenever they have low power.
If somebody would help me, that could be nice.
