Weather Widget Missing Image Icon

This started today - the icon for my weather widget is now showing a broken image. It does not go away when I remove and re-add to my always on display. Anyone else experiencing this or know why it’s happening?

weather lockscreen icon appears broken I have the Apple Weather current conditions widget on my lockscreen. Today it started showing a rectangle missing a corner where I think I usually see an icon showing current conditions, like a cloud or a sun or whatnot. What is happening here? Is this fixable? I’ve tried removing the widget and putting it back but it still looks like this. Its’s been this way for hours.

Yes, this started happening today. 15PM with iOS 17.1. Loading the iOS weather app cleared it up. This was the first time snowfall was forecasted in both locations it occurred. I submitted a bug report to Apple.

Same here. iPhone 14 pro running iOS17. updating to 17.1 does not fix.
