Why my Beats Studio Pro is still acting all like under bluetooth mode while connecting to MacBook Pro via USB-C cable?

So I think I have figured out why the equalizer settings don't work on the Macbook Pro with the Beats Studio Pro with connected usb-c. Both Spotify and Pandora doesn't work, but the settings only work with Apple Music. Apple/Beats should fix this. They should also fix the sound quality from playing music (not Apple Music) from other music apps to not lag the music quality. The headphones sound excellent playing music from iphone but the sound quality is distorted from the Macbook Pro. Apple support, please fix as others on the internet state similar issues.

If anyone stumbles upon this. The solution is to make sure the Beats Studio Pro aren't connected via the Macbook's Bluetooth and you select the USB connection in System Settings -> Sound. I've tested the EQ profiles in Apple Music sucessfully.

So you need to be listening to Apple Music to use this feature? If you use this feature successfully does it revert back to factory EQ when using Spotify?
