Does anyone know how to solve the issue of the new favorites playlist in iOS 17.1? When I got iOS 17.1, I was excited because you could now favorite a song and it would add to a favorites playlist but it doesn’t. All it says is “music you favorite will appear here.” Is this an actual bug with the new iOS? If not, can someone show me how to fix it?

Thanks for the link. I have the Favorite Songs playlist populated with a lot of music. The problem is you can’t ask Siri to play that playlist on the HomePod. It works fine on the iPhone/iPad, etc. I primarily listen to music on my HomePods so it’s very frustrating.

The new Apple Playlist is not working and does not pull through any of the Favorited songs/ albums.
Probably a bug. What I did to save my FAVORITE SONGS playlist…
Search> “Favorites” > “Favorite Songs” > Hit the arrow in the top right corner to download to your phone
I asked Siri on the HomePods to play my favourite songs and she did.
Spotify was able do this from the start. This whole apple music set up is never gonna work properly. Too confusing, not intuitive at all. Just switch to an other one, I guess.
