All of a sudden this happened and I don't know why. Why did this happen!?

no wrong password was entered.
It was working fine reading CNN and BBC and then I closed that out. Then I put the phone in my pocket. I was not using it and when I took the phone out to charge it, I found this message.
It just happened.
It now has 39 minutes to go so will everything be normal again after it asks for my passcode?

It sounds as if the phone thought passwords were being entered while it was in your pocket. This can happen. In addition to making sure the screen is locked before you put the phone in your pocket, turn off Settings>Accessibility>Touch>Tap or Swipe to Wake. And, make sure that the screen of the phone is facing away from your body in your pocket.
There's no need to "hard reset" your phone after you get back in. It won't hurt anything if you do, though.
Did you enter a wrong passcode more then once?
When you manage to use the iPhone again you should hard reset it.
Yeh! It did the 3 hours and I just had to add my password. It looks normal.
Thank you!
If you put the phone in your pocket, do so with the screen facing away from your body. That will cut down on the chances of the phone rubbing against your leg and entering false codes.

Let your phone run the 3 min. Then put in your password and it should work.
