Game Center profile picture

Why can't I change my Game Center profile picture on a Mac? According to Apple support it is possible to do so with iOS devices... Well, isn't this a little weird?

I'm a long time Mac enthusiast but I'll never buy an iPhone or iPad.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.0
