Sunrise/Sunset Watch complication stopped working after update

The sunrise/sunset complication on my Apple Watch SE stopped working after I did the latest software update to 10.0.1. I had to update my phone, which was behind, to the latest version of 17.0.3 before it would let me update the watch.

Why is this complication no longer working? I have already checked and turned off and back on the location settings, and I tried replacing/removing the complication and putting it back. Watch has been restarted and so has the phone. Any ideas?

Hello bmarieb17,

You've done some great troubleshooting already. Beyond that, we'd advise that you erase the watch and set it back up again, which might help with this. You won't lose any data as a backup is made automatically beforehand. Follow this support article for instructions: Unpair and erase your Apple Watch.

If the issue persists after that, further assistance may be needed. We want to make sure you reach the right team for help with your watch, so we recommend that you contact Apple Support directly. Depending on your region, you may be able to reach them here: Get Support - Apple.
