Nothing shows up in Photos using Imovie
Trying to import movies from Photos to Imovie but nothing shows up when I choose Photos symbol in Imovie.

Hi,
Quite possibly the photos are stored in the cloud, which can happen if one uses iCloud photos and activates optimized storage. Download the photos and they should appear when clickiing on the Photos item in the iMovie sidebar.
Also, iMovie will only read photos that are in the System Photos library. Open your Photos app general preferences and confirm that it is the system photos library.
