Macbook air will not charge why?

• Try your current charger on a different Mac.
• Try a different charger on your current Mac.
• Try a different outlet.
• Narrow it down as much as possible.

Send either one that doesn't work or both to the nearest Apple repair centre for diagnosis. If the outlet is faulty, you'll have to find a solution elsewhere and opt for different outlets for now.
