Apple Watch connections

My Apple Watch is not connecting to my Apple Music and I already have it on my phone and it says ‘To use this app on your Apple Watch the iPhone app for music needs to be installed on (null)’ what does this mean?

Hi geektraq,

Please review the following line from Play music on Apple Watch:

"Note: Not all features are available in the Apple Music Voice Plan. For more information, see the Apple Support article About Apple Music Voice."

You have not indicated which Apple Music plan you currently subscribe to, and if using the Apple Music Voice level this may be expected. Test to see if you can use Siri on your Apple Watch to access the Apple Music service.

Also be aware that to play Apple Music directly from the watch you will need AirPods or other compatible Bluetooth speakers/headphones paired with the Apple Watch, as it will not play through the watch speaker.

Regards.
