To reset Beatsx

Hold down these two buttons for 10 seconds:

Power button

Volume down button


When the LED indicator light flashes, release the buttons.

Your earphones are now reset and ready to be set up with your devices again.

We do not know whether the firmware is up-to-date,

what happens when you try to connect / use your Beatsx, (eg: an error message may help troubleshoot.)

which Mac or device model you use with the Beats, and which MacOS / iOS / iPad OS version is installed,

Troubleshooting Beats:


What to do: If you can't connect to your wireless Beats product - Apple Support


You might want to check that you are only connecting headphones to one device at a time.

(Eg may not be switching between multiple devices.)


See if turn off / turn on bluetooth helps


What to do: If your headphones don't work with your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
