Firewire 400 to USB C i have a LaCie Porsche Design 250 GB External Hard Disk Firewire 400 with a lot pics and information, actually i have a Macbook pro 13" 2017 with USB C port only, i try to connect this drive but i can't, what would you recommend to resolve this issue?

with the amount of info you provide in terms of what external hd then maybe some sort of thing like this

I used Apple's FW→Thunderbolt adapters with my old FW (SATA) HDDs on a Mac mini 2018. But eventually I took most of the old HDDs out of their FW enclosures and put them in newer USB enclosures.
