My iPhone shows European currency instead of dollars.

don’t know what to do, somehow my new Apple iphone is displaying Lira or Euros rather than dollars. Can someone tell me the way to change it back ? I would be very appreciative. Thank you very much,

Hello alihand023,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. The currency your iPhone uses will be determined by the region or country that you are using in your settings. Check to make sure that your country settings are correct using this guidance from Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support.

"Use your iPhone or iPad to change your region

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name, then tap Media & Purchases.
  3. Tap View Account. You might be asked to sign in.
  4. Tap Country/Region.
  5. Tap Change Country or Region.
  6. Tap your new country or region, then review the Terms & Conditions.
  7. Tap Agree in the upper-right corner, then tap Agree again to confirm.
  8. Select a payment method and enter your new payment information and billing address, then tap Next. You must enter a valid payment method for your new country or region."

All the best.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max has been showing me British pounds for more than six months now. I’ve confirmed in my settings as well in Apple support that it’s set to Canada. I tried was going to try toggling another country and then back to Canada but it doesn’t allow me because I have Apple TV subscriptions that it says I must cancel first in order to do that. I’m at a loss now.

Apple Support app has my Apple ID and set to Canada, however the repair pricing showed up in British currency £. Doesn’t make any sense.
