After taking a photo from the front camera, the photo becomes dark.

When I take a screenshot, the photo is brighter, but when I press the shutter button, the photo appears darker. And it's rough at first, then it gets smoother🙄

I hope there is no problem with the phone: Model iPhone 15 pro max

Hi Butterflybutterfly,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

With your photos appearing dark after being taken, make sure you don't have Live Photos enabled. The Live Photo may show varied lighting. You can disable this feature.

Take and edit Live Photos - Apple Support

Update iPhone and make sure you have restarted to ensure the most recent performance fixes have been installed.

Try adjusting camera settings to get the desired look.
