after purchasing my new iPhone 15 Pro Max I noticed an issue with the CarPlay Maps navigation. Upon starting a route the unit seems to have trouble pin pointing its location. Then it begins to make wildly inaccurate moves, never quite catching up to the correct location. It has rendered maps nearly unusable at this point. I never experienced these issues with past models 11 Pro, 13 Pro Max.
Anyone else experiencing this switching?

Hi mate, I have the same problem.
15 Pro iOS 17.5 Public Beta — the same issue when using wireless CarPlay.
I have with me my old 13 Pro Max and my friend's 11 — no such problem with these two.
…have now the same problem with my 15pro/17.5.1 and wireless CarPlay ….Were you able to fix it?
I already tried resetting the Network, Locations, etc. and at least reinstalled iOS as a clean install - but still doesn’t work..
same issue here. just got lost near Palo Alto. Maps was saying i was a mile from where i was and then just held me in a golf course for a bit. It would snap in and find me, then five minutes later go way off track.
