Old keynote version for MacOS10

Hello,

I stumbled across an old post saying if you have previously installed Keynote with your apple ID, it will give you the option to install an older version, if the up-to-date version isnt supported by your OS (Older versions of Keynote? - Apple Community).

Now Im just trying to install Keynote for the first time on my old Macbook and I dont get this option, it just says I need MacOS 13. I cant update my OS anymore and I really need Keynote for an important presentation, so what am I supposed to do? There must be a way to install a compatible version, doesnt it?

Thanks for your help

Need some more information to be able to help you:

  • What is the exact version of MacOS on the MacBook you have?

go to the Apple menu and select About this Mac - the version number will be displayed there

for example: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

  • Do you have another Mac, if so what is the MacOS
  • Have you installed Keynote on any Mac using the Mac App Store?
