Returning or replacement for Apple pencil

Hello, yesterday i found my apple pencil cracked on the charger cap is their a chance in which i can return or get a replacement for it because honestly it didn’t have that crack it appeared today?

if it's under warranty then you should read

though if they judge it's broken because of user handling rather than a production defect disovered after purchase then warranty will not cover it
