I can’t delete “Automator”

I don’t even know what that app is or how I got it. I’ve been trying to fix my very slow MAC pro. I was hoping to delete unused apps but this one won’t go away

Delete Microsoft AutoUpdate on an iMac I just cannot find this bad boy to delete it. I've looked in the Microsoft folder and in my applications folders. If it is there, it has a different name. I've tried search for Microsoft AutoUpdate.app and AutoUpdate.app with no luck. This guy keeps popping up several times a day to advise me to upgrade - I do not wish to do so. I'm using Word, PowerPoint and Excel on my iMac. Any advice on how to find it and delete it would be much appreciated.

Like many apps Automator is an integral part of macOS that cannot be deleted.

If your Mac is not performing as well as you think it should please determine if it performs just as poorly in "Safe Mode": Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support.
