iphone 15 pro mobile data problem

Ever since getting my iPhone 15 pro. The mobile data 4G drops out and doesn’t come back unless I switch aeroplane mode on and then off again.

The data drops again after a short while and then I have to repeat the above. I’m on the latest available version of iOS.

I have tried the following with no success:

Network setting reset

Complete wipe and restore from icloud

Sim swap with my provider O2.

Multiple phone resets

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17

Hello Stewarty,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

Let's check for carrier settings update using these steps:

"Check for a Carrier Settings update

To manually check for and install a carrier settings update:

  1. Make sure that your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network.
  2. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.
  3. To see the version of carrier settings on your device, tap Settings > General > About and look next to Carrier.

If you insert a new SIM card into your iPhone or iPad, you need to download the carrier settings for your new carrier."

Additional details can be found here: If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad

If the issue persists, reach out to Apple directly by going to  Get Support

They will take a closer look and check on available options.

Cheers!

Hi Stewarty,

If you find this issue happens only in the same location, then you'll need to let your carrier know, as they may have an issue with a transmitting tower.

If not happening in the same location, and since you've already worked with your carrier, and reset the network settings, the next step is to contact Apple Support. Let them know all of the troubleshooting you've done.

Get Support

Take care!
