Hi DCaron19,

As you've not indicated the device or application in use with regard to your concern, Use Voice Isolation or Wide Spectrum during a call on your iPhone and iPad outlines the applicable use and requirements of this feature:

"Here's what you need

  • To use Voice Isolation or Wide Spectrum during a FaceTime audio or video call, you'll need iOS 15 or later.
  • To use Voice Isolation during a phone call, you'll need iOS 16.4 or later. Wide Spectrum is not available in phone calls.
  • With iOS 15 or later, Voice Isolation and Wide Spectrum are also available in certain third-party apps.

You can use Voice Isolation and Wide Spectrum on these devices:

  • iPhone XR, iPhone XS models, and later
  • iPad (8th generation) and later
  • All iPad Pro 11-inch models
  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) and later
  • iPad Air (3rd generation) and later
  • iPad mini (5th generation) and later"

Follow the steps in that article and ensure you're using this during phone or FaceTime calls. If your concern is related to a third-party application instead, work with the developer of that software to verify if this feature is supported by their app.

If your concern is related to something else, provide specifics and details around the situation including device model, use, and what you see including any errors to help future replies.

Regards.
