MacBook Air compatible with a Epson V600 Scanner

I have a MacBook air M2 chip OS Sonoma 14.0. I purchased a Epson V600 scanner and tried everything I could think of to get it to work.I got a link on the Silver Fast to install Silver Fast 9 beta and the Epson Drivers but the scanner would not show up as a device to add in the Printers and Scanner setup. I could see the device listed in the USB attached devices when I used a USB C to USB A adapter but it would not show up when when I used a Satechi Pro Hub Max nothing show up as a USB device.

I also have a Mac mini with OS Catalina late (2012) the software would not install but I could get the scanner to do a preview scan but not a full scan. I gave up on this and I have the scanner back in the box and a return RA back to Amazon.

Would be interested if someone comes up with a answer to get this to work. Thanks and good luck....
