Daughter’s Apple Watch SE not receiving text messages

We have SE 2nd generation watches for my kids with a cellular plan. Over the last few weeks my daughter has not been receiving text messages, or if she does, they are hours or days later. Tonight I have paired/unpaired multiple times and even performed a reset on her watch. I have noticed that her watch is only able to receive SMS messages and not iMessages. Meaning, if I text from my iPhone the message is sent as a green bubble and she receives it. But if her brother messages her from his watch, it goes through as a blue bubble but she never receives it. Not will she receive a message sent to both watches. Don’t know what else to do

This page will provide you with details on how to complete the following steps:

Check Control Center
Check your connection
Try sending a message from your iPhone
Make sure that you signed in
Check your iMessage settings
Sign out of iMessage
Sign in to iMessage again
Restart your Apple Watch and iPhone
Check for updates
