Messages are usually blue and “delivered” is underneath message; when I am blocked on another iphone, come across green. Lately, my blocked messages stay blue, but no delivery status. Has something changed??

Blocked Messages

iphone 13 -

Blocked texts usually go from

blue “delivered” underneath to green, sometimes say text message, I message, etc., or nothing at all. Lately, the last week-ish, blocked messages are staying blue, with no delivered status. I know my phone calls are blocked still, but have messages been changed?????

iPhone 13, 17

Hello PeFr,

When you are blocked by the contact that you're attempting to message, the text will not go through to them, which can help explain why it doesn't have a 'Delivered' option underneath.

This page can help provide info on blocked contacts: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

On this link you may find info on why a green bubble can appear, including when trying to use iMessage: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you see a green message bubble instead of a blue one, then that message was sent using MMS/SMS instead of iMessage. There are several reasons for this:
• The person that you sent the message to doesn't have an Apple device.
• iMessage is turned off on your device or on your recipient’s device. To check if iMessage is turned on for your device, go to Settings > Messages > iMessage.
• iMessage is temporarily unavailable on your device or on your recipient’s device.

Cheers.
