I've inherited my daughter's iphone 11 (having bought her a new phone) and am trying to transfer the data from my old iphone 11 but the new one insists on installing iOS 17 and is then just hanging saying 'install now' with the wheely thing going round. Any ideas?

Thank you for your reply! So will that affect the update as well then? I updated my old phone this morning, to see if that made any difference, but it didn't. Am on wifi and there are a number of devices connected so perhaps that's it. Any idea what the maximum time might be? It's been an hour...might it take several?
