I’ve restarted my AirPods, a couple of different times, and I still can’t connect them to my phone

I was having problems with one of my AirPods and not having any sound coming out of it, and when I had it open well in the pod, my left, AirPod didn’t show any charge or battery life but the right one did, and so did the pod. I have tried everything possible from cleaning the interior to cleaning the left bud itself.

I proceeded to reset, my AirPods but now they won’t connect at all. So I deleted them from my phone and tablets, and proceeded to reset them again but now my phone will not connect back to them at all. What can I do?

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 17

Hey there donnyna,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. If you're having an issue setting up your AirPods and have tried resetting them with no success, we would recommend getting in touch with Apple Support directly for further assistance. It is possible they will need hardware service.

You can do this by bringing your AirPods into an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have a Genius or Apple-certified technician inspect the AirPods. You can find your nearest location, get contact information, and set a reservation here: Apple - Find Locations

If you'd prefer to speak to Apple Support prior to creating a reservation to get more information and review your options, you can reach out to them here: Get Support

Have a lovely day!
