OLD AZUS LABTOP backed up daily with Carbonite software
want to download files from Carbonite to Mac air
Carbonite support will assist with download but when remote access tried from new Mac, message says I need Rosseta solfware to allow remote access
How can I get this software?

Just a SAWG, but I think they're saying you need Rosetta to run the app remotely. It permits many applications compiled exclusively for x86-64 processors (Intel) to be translated to run on Apple silicon.
Rosetta has nothing to do with downloading and as MacMikeInOK said, it runs when needed on Silicone Macs.
