When exported to movie any embedded video either does not play or plays jin a series of jerks.
I've Sonoma 14.0 running. Anyone experiencing the same? Any suggested fix?

iMac, macOS 10.13
1 - Make a duplicate of your original Keynote
2 - Right Click on the Duplicate of your Keynote and view the package contents.
3- Open the folder called “Data” and remove your embedded videos contained within it by moving them to another location or folder like your desktop.
4 - Re-encode your videos using “Handbreak.app” with similar format settings but outputting them with “Fast 1080p30” with video encoder set to “MPEG-4”
5 - Open the duplicate keynote file in keynote app. It should say the movies embedded are corrupt.
6 - Replace the media now in the document with your new re-encoded videos.
7 - Now export from keynote again and your new movie will look a lot better.

I tried running the video clips through Handbrake and saving as MPEG-4 clips before embedding in the keynote file and the resultant exported movie file from Keynote played OK using Quicktime.
I can now resume producing some decent information and actual video clips on my local golf club lounge display screen.
Information is appreciated.
This has been a headache. It seems they work fine if they are streaming thru youtube or something but like you say, imbedded videos sputter and stall.
Anyone know of any updates? I teach at the university level and don't have the time to go in and reconfigure all my slides and videos.

There are many problems with Keynote 13.2 running in Sonoma which includes exporting to movie.
Either wait for Apple to fix this or revert to Mac OS Monterey or Ventura
Thanks Gary. I'll await Apples response. I have provided file copies for them to work on. Meanwhile I can manage without including video clips in the actual presentation.
It’s frustrating that videos are not exporting properly.
I don’t think Apple are fully aware of this issue.
