What to do when MacBook Air fan runs continuously.

MacBook Air fan runs continuously sometimes. Apple help article says reset the system management control on intel-based macs. But my MacBook help feature doesn’t recognize that reset prompt to tell me how.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.5

Check the Activity Monitor for any process that may be using a high percentage of the CPU.
