How to get battery to stay on menu bar.
I have already clicked on the battery in menu bar from the controls but it still doesn't stay up there. Also how do I get the genie to stay on the bottom and not disappear?

You neglected to mention the version of macOS you are using. This information is critical since Apple has made significant changes several times with the location of some items within System Preferences/Settings.
Easiest way to find it is by searching for "battery" with the search bar within System Preferences/Settings. It will likely be located in either "Dock & Menu Bar", or "Control Center".
